The Café
Open 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
On Saturdays from May 23 to September 5, 2026, the Café will be open until 8:00 p.m. with last orders at 7:15 p.m.
The Café features seasonal menu items made with locally sourced ingredients; the Café offers indoor dining on a first-come, first-served basis. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.
Brunch is available all day Saturday and Sunday. See the sample menu below for a preview of our brunch options.
The Patio
Open 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.*
On Saturdays from May 23 to September 5, 2026, the Patio will be open until 8:00 p.m., but will close from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a service changeover ahead of the Summer Music Series performances.
The Patio offers espresso drinks, beverages, and pastries. All items are served in compostable to-go containers.

Bookstore
Located in the Arrival Hall, the Bookstore offers a selection of Glenstone publications, rare and popular titles, and Glenstone merchandise for purchase.
Summer Music Evenings Pre-Order
Live music returns to the Patio every Saturday night beginning from May 23 - September 5, 2026. Visitors with Summer Music Series tickets have the option to pre-order seasonal grazing boxes and local wines to enjoy during the evening performance.
We have two grazing box options available on Summer Music Series evenings only. Visitors with musical performance tickets will receive an email with the pre-order link. A limited number of additional grazing boxes will be available on site for ticketed music series visitors to purchase.
GRAZING BOXES
Each box feeds two to four people.
Mezze Box: $40
A mediterranean mezze spread featuring beet hummus, whipped feta, baba ghanoush, olives, crudités, naan bites, and baklava.
Sandwich Box: $45
Ham and goat cheese baguette with peach preserves and arugula, summer berry salad, fingerling potato salad with haricot verts and hard‑boiled egg, and lemon tarts.
LOCAL WINES
Visitors may also pre-order wine by the bottle to enjoy during the Summer Music Series. Wine must be consumed on site and bottles (open or closed) may not be taken to-go. ID required at pick up.
Featuring wines from Windridge Vineyards of Darnestown, Maryland.
Albariño: Light-medium bodied Spanish style white with citrus aromas. 750 ml.
Chambourcin: Light bodied red with aromas of wild raspberry and ripe strawberry. 750 ml.
Encampment: Easy medium bodied, bright acidity accentuates ripe fruit characters. 750 ml.
Rosé: A fresh, light bodied, dry rosé with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, and watermelon. 750 ml.

Does the Café do reservations?
No. All dining services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
When are the Café and Patio open?
The Café is open Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Patio is open Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Do you offer vegan and gluten-free options?
Yes. Both the Café and Patio offer vegan and gluten-free dining.
Can I bring my own food and drinks to Glenstone?
Glenstone encourages visitors to bring water bottles for the outdoor trails, especially in the warmer months. In the spring, summer, and fall, water bottle filling stations are available at several points on our trails.
Small snacks and personal food items may be brought, but no food or drink is allowed in the museum spaces.
Glenstone does not allow picnicking.
Can we order food to go?
At the Patio, visitors can order drinks and fresh pastries to go. These items are served in fully compostable containers and packaging. Glenstone does not offer the option to order or take food to go from the Cafe.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The Café, Patio, and Bookstore are card-only and do not accept cash.
Can my entire party be seated together?
Tables at the Café are communal. Large parties may not all be able to sit together, but are welcome to split up.
Can I visit the Bookstore without a ticket to Glenstone?
Yes. You may visit the Bookstore, during museum hours, without a reservation to Glenstone.
