Internships
Glenstone proudly supports the next generation of museum professionals by offering paid internships for post-secondary and graduate students.
Internships at Glenstone
Our program offers insight into the inner workings of an interdisciplinary museum. Interns participate in meaningful projects that drive Glenstone’s mission, learning how art, architecture, and nature shape our unique visitor experience. With opportunities for relationship-building, cross-departmental collaboration, and public speaking on a relevant topic of interest, interns are encouraged to hone their understanding of career pathways within the museum field.
For questions, contact learning@glenstone.org. Please note: resumes sent to this address cannot be considered; applicants must apply through our careers page.

Summer RISE
Glenstone is a proud participant in Montgomery County Public Schools' Summer RISE program.
Summer RISE (Reimagining an Innovative Student Experience) is an initiative of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), implemented in collaboration with businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations. The program is for rising MCPS juniors and seniors to participate in a career-based learning opportunity during the summer. Students have the opportunity to engage in numerous hands-on learning opportunities related to their field of interest.
Glenstone has hosted RISE students in positions relating to grounds, security, engineering, collections, communications, community engagement, and more.
