Can I bring a bag?
Bags must be 8 inches by 8 inches or smaller; larger bags should be left in a vehicle or checked at the Arrival Hall.
Can I bring a lawn chair?
No. Outdoor chairs of any kind are not permitted.
This includes all chair types, including short-legged beach/sand chairs, legless "clam-style" or small ground cushions. No canopies or sun tents of any variety are permitted.
Can I bring a blanket?
No. A limited number of complimentary blankets are available to borrow from the patio on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Can I bring my own food?
No. Outside food and drink are not permitted at Glenstone at any time. (Water is ok, but must be checked in lockers when entering the Pavilions and Gallery buildings.) Small bites and drinks are available for purchase at the Patio during the performance. Glenstone is a cashless venue. Credit cards and contactless payments are accepted.
Are more tickets going to be released?
No. All available music tickets for a month are released at 10 a.m. on the 15th of the preceding month (May-August). If a visitor cancels their music tickets, the tickets immediately become available on glenstone.org.
What is the cost of a summer music ticket?
Nothing! All tickets to summer music are free. Summer music tickets include admission to Glenstone for the same day. Admission to Glenstone is also always free.
Why do the tickets sell out so fast?
Visitor demand for the free summer concert series is very high. We doubled the number of concerts in 2026 in an effort to accommodate more visitors. There are now 16 free concerts between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
In an effort to increase the number of visitors who can enjoy the concerts, we are also limiting visitors to one concert reservation per month and the number of tickets that can be reserved to four per party. We will continue to explore new ways to make these free performances available to more visitors.
Are concerts rescheduled if they are cancelled due to rain or weather?
No. We are unable to reschedule concerts that are cancelled due to weather.
Do I need a separate ticket to visit Glenstone?
If you have a confirmed Summer Music Series ticket you do not need an additional ticket to enter Glenstone. Your music ticket provides admission to Glenstone on the same day as your ticketed performance.
Does your Guaranteed Entry program include the music series?
No. Our guaranteed entry program does not include admission to the music series. Every music performance attendee must have a reserved ticket.
Can I reschedule my music tickets to another performance date?
No. Tickets cannot be rescheduled to another performance date.
What is the seating arrangement for performances?
Seating is on a first come, first serve basis at the Patio. Outdoor tables and chairs, "lounge-style" chairs, and picnic tables are all available for visitors to enjoy. Glenstone also provides blankets for visitors to use on the grass.
Patio seating opens at 5p.m. and performances begin at 5:30p.m.
