Glenstone Museum Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Expanded Summer Programming
Visitors are invited to enjoy additional guided walks, summer music evenings, and Pitango Gelato.
Glenstone Museum is pleased to announce new and returning programs for visitors this spring and summer. In collaboration with composer Alistair Coleman, the Summer Music Series will expand to 16 performances and feature a lineup of musicians bridging a wide range of musical traditions in America.
“As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we look forward to expanding access through our summer evenings programs” said Valentina Nahon, senior director of public engagement. “All summer long we will offer more opportunities for visitors to enjoy curatorial talks, guided outdoor sculpture walks and double the musical performances on Saturday nights. We look forward to welcoming you to experience Glenstone.”
Summer Music Series
Inspired by the exhibition Ties of our common kindred, which commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Summer Music Series will include performances ranging from jazz, folk, and bluegrass to Chinese dulcimer, electro-acoustic strings, steelpan, Indian classical music, and much more.
“For me, Glenstone has always been a space that inspires music in unexpected ways,” said Alistair Coleman, composer. “This series brings together artists whose distinct voices reflect the vibrant music-making of our region, and I know performers and listeners alike will discover something memorable sharing live music in this extraordinary space.”
All performances are free; tickets are required. The Summer Music Series will feature performances by pianist Joshua Jenkins, banjoist Brad Kolodner, Julien Xuereb, Bree & Tate String Duo, Dong Xi, Jonathan Epley Trio, guitarist Cristian Perez, guitarist Connor Holdridge, steelpan performer Josanne Francis, James Fernando Trio, Arco and Aire, singer-songwriter Taisha Estrada, Snehesh Nag Trio, violinist Max Jacobs, Otherworld, and electric cellist Wytold.
Music performances will take place Saturday evenings (May 23 – September 5, 2026) from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Patio. Each music performance ticket includes admission to Glenstone for the same day. Music tickets will be released on the 15th of each month at 10 a.m. for the following month. Tickets for May performances will be released on April 15, 2026 at 10 a.m.
To accommodate high demand, tickets are limited to four people per reservation, and individuals may make only one reservation per month. Glenstone will offer visitors the option to pre-order house-made grazing boxes and selections from local vintner Windridge Vineyards. Specific performance dates and dining pre-order details are available online.
