Operating Updates

Last Updated April 9, 2024

Please Note: Beginning March 21, 2024, the Pavilions building will be temporarily closed for renovations through early 2025. The grounds, Gallery, Café, Patio, Arrival Hall, and Bookstore will remain open during this time.

Beginning April 11, and continuing through June of 2024, the Main Path in front of the Pavilions (overlooking Michael Heizer’s Compression Line, 1968/2016) will be closed to visitors. Alternate paths to the Gallery are visible on the map below.

During this period, we will offer timed exhibition ticketing to maintain the serene and contemplative atmosphere that is the hallmark of our visitor experience. Glenstone Admission (Outdoor Experience) timed entry will include access to the Café, Patio, Arrival Hall, Bookstore, and grounds. Timed entry for Iconoclasts: Selections from Glenstone’s Collection, on view in the Gallery building, will be offered as an addition to Glenstone Admission entry. Admission is always free.

While the Pavilions building is closed, visitors using Guaranteed Entry are assured Glenstone Admission. Admission to the Gallery building and Iconoclasts exhibition are more limited, and will be issued on a first come, first served basis throughout the day, as there is availability.

Over the next two years, visitors can expect several exciting new additions to Glenstone’s outdoor sculpture program, as well as special programming, including more Nature Walks and curatorial talks.
